This is a very important show. Not only does it return to the haunting male vocal trance that drew meinto this music in the first place, but the electro-house movement istaking charge and the first half of this set really celebrates it. 

Kicking it off is Marco V and his crucial track Unprepared.  I was unprepared for feeling completely debilitated when I first heard this and after looking up the lyrics it still moves me greatly. I havn't figured out who does the vocals but doesn't it kinda sound like the guy from She Wants Revenge?

The next track is a perfect counterpart  and the electro buzzes in with DJ Shaolin, Deadmau5 and Robb feat. Freeland.
No sim card, no disco lol.

Not to be outdone, it's Kelly Rowland on a really great version of the David Guetta track. Who knew she could sing like this? They performed this song live on So You Think You Can Dance the other night. It was, well, live The big question is, That's what David Guetta looks like? Why?

Then it's a return trip home with a Spencer And Hill remix of the quintessential Paul Van Dyk track and Anguilla Project.
Rounding out the back is the soothing and powerful Nic Chagall track featuring Jonathan Mendelsohn, who may or may not be the poor man's Christian Burns.

So I wanted to put together a tight little mix to double as a demo submission for a few local clubs and what came out is pretty awesome. I owe it in part to the new Morgan Page release but mostly I am picking up mixing experience quickly between my weekly dj gigs and this podcast.

The Tegan and Sara track was a gratifying find and because I wanted to keep this set mostly danceable, I included Ne-yo's Closer, which has been in my playlists all summer and in the future when listening back to this show, this song will likely be a vivid reminder of an insane summer living in the Castro in 2008. (Also I'm proud of the little mash-up between the two songs. I hope the variation of genre doesn't detract from this podcasts identity. Trance music is at my core but House, Dance and Hip-Hop are crucial)

I'm still working to get a functional itunes subscription link in place. I'm going to beg my friend, Sander, to help me figure it all out. Thanks for listening and please spread the word. I'm just getting warmed up.

wow ok, this is crazy complicated for me, the whole rss feed creation and how to update it and then getting itunes to recognize updates- my head is about to explode right now. I'm attempting to move the feed to feedburner in hopes of aquiring some control, but itunes still sees the original feed (the image with the white background) even tho thats like insanely outdated- i don't even think that feed is any longer valid- and I am useless until apple support responds by forwarding me some innapropriate tutorial.
